Figuring out medications

After a smoother, but difficult three months I decided to give xanax a break. I tapered hard from 4-10mg a day, down to 1mg a day, within the space of 1-2 weeks. I originally didn’t actually feel to bad, but after coming off the last mg I noticed my old aliments coming back, which were present when taking either tramadol or xanax. It was past the withdrawal period to, so I held out past what was expected and noticed the effects were not from standard typical benzo withdrawal, but resembled the condition and state I was left in before I started taking either medications.

I’m not sure why I tapered of before stopping xanax if I’m honest, part was to be more aware of the decisions I take which are often more riskier on xanax and don’t always correlate with how I think or feel about the situation. I know that was not a great decision after rediscovering all the FND aliments I had before starting any drugs, so realistically it’s not a great idea to stop completely if I can stay leveled at a lower dosage. 1-2mg a day, with no rollovers to next days if I don’t take the dosage the previous day, not really sure what else is viable when your wrapped up in pain and not able to move barely, which is/can be a side effect of withdrawals sure, but not when you rediscover the aliments that made things difficult before taking any of the drugs I’m currently on. Spams, pain in the same areas as previously, all feeling myofacial and not nerve related, proved by the cracking that happens when touching certain pressure points. And rigid movements when walking to the point where almost becomes impossible to. If Xanax is what puts the breaks on my system that processes threat and stress to the point where I can have a livable life, sounds not to bad to me.
